The cuttings season is now finished. Preorders will open in November for delivery in January 2026. 
 
10 x 25cm cuttings of Salix gracilistyla Melanostachys grown here at Cherry Tree Flower Farm without the use of chemicals.
 
This willow is one of the slower growing varieties and is ideal as an ornamental garden shrub. Its also great for floristry use with its striking black catkins in late winter.
It will grow to approx 2.5m wide and 2.5m high.
During the summer months it carries glossy, mid green, oval leaves which it then loses over winter.
 
This variety is also available potted later in the year.
 
Cherry Tree Flower Farm is registered with, and inspected by, the Animal and Plant Health Agency [APHA] and all willow cuttings are issued with plant passports.
